Congratulations to Lee-Anne Mullholland the winner of this years Hole and Hole competition. Lee-Anne played and won the final match against Sue Murray. Many thanks to all who took part and well done Lee-Anne!

Scottish Golf have applied a playing conditions calculation (PCC) of 3 shots to yesterday’s scores. When abnormal course or weather conditions cause scores to be unusually high or low on a given day, a “Playing Conditions Calculation” will adjust Score Differentials to better reflect a player’s actual performance.
The score from Longniddry will have a lower differential than you would expect. You can see the details if you log in to your account on the Scottish Golf website.

After the beautiful weather last week,  we were reminded today that Autumn is indeed here. Around 8am this morning it was “lovely weather for ducks” but not so for our early bird golfers. The challenging conditions were summed up when one lady was asked “Did you have a good score? -“Don’t be silly it was chucking it down and blowing a hooley” came the reply. Despite the conditions 69 ladies came out and braved the elements with congratulations going to Isobel Barrie who came first with 34 points narrowly beating Gwen Johnson on count back.

Dirleton Castle were victorious in winning the  Catriona Matthew Trophy this year. Well done to the team – Isobel Barrie, Heather McCutcheon and Kayren MacDonald.
Congratulations to Ann Sewell who had a hole in one on the 16th. Ann is a member of “The Hole in One Club” and will now have an opportunity to qualify for a trip to TPC Sawgrass. Good Luck Ann!
Many thanks to Longniddry Golf Club for hosting today and to all the catering staff who looked after us so well.
