Winter Foursomes Final Report

Congratulations to Anne and Anne, Sheila and Rae on reaching the final.

It was a very windy and cold start to the final tie on Monday morning. At least the wind kept the rain at bay but the gusts were somewhat challenging to say the least.

Holes were lost both sides by challenging wind conditions affecting play and balls finding bunkers!

Anne & Anne were 3 up after 9 holes but then lost 2 holes in quick sucession. This was due to some great pars made by Rae and Sheila on the next two Par 3s.

The game was played in good spirit with holes being won then lost.

The game concluded on hole 16 with Anne and Anne winning 3/2.’
