Percy de Vere Trophy

The annual match with the Gullane men for the Percy de Vere Trophy took place this afternoon.

The format was greensomes with 6 drives being required from each player.

The matches started in calm, cold and dry conditions but by the time the first game reached the 7th hole the rain started and kept on going. The teams were very wet and cold by the time they got back but were warmed by a wonderful high tea.

Congratulations go to the Gullane Men’s Team who won the match.

Many thanks to Gullane for their hospitality.

The pairings for the East Lothian Ladies Team were Louise Martin & Anna Zonova, Kirsten Ireland & Allyce Kennedy Darke, Jill McNicoll & Jenny Sewell, Annie Laird & Nancy Thorne, Hazel Saunders & Mary Lou Watkins and Corrine Luca & Shona Paton.
