East of Scotland Championship 2025 – Elie
Congratulations to all of the players who battled some incredibly difficult conditions on the course today – given the strength of the wind, the scoring showed the quality that there was within the field today.
The East of Scotland Championship was won by Jennifer Allan (Glenbervie GC) with an outstanding gross round of 75, just pipping the 2024 winner Rachael Livingston (Baberton) into second place with a gross 76, with third place going to Jill McNicoll (Gullane) and fourth place to Gillian Paton (St Regulus Ladies) who both had gross scores of 79 and just saw them edge out Brogan Clark (Duunikier) from the prize list.
Our Net winner today was Jean Cosgrove (Falkirk Tryst) with an excellent net 69, followed by runner up Marie Young (North Berwick) with a 71 (BIH) from Jennifer Ure (Braehead) also 71, with fourth place going to Elinor Blair (North Berwick).
Well done to the team from Stirling & Clackmannanshire (Laura Bisset, Jennie Allan, Margo Gardner and Kayleigh Caine) who won the team trophy with a score of 242.
