Babe Zaharias Booking

I can only apologise for the problems with the booking system for the Babe Zaharias Competition.

I have emailed Scottish Golf to ask if this can be sorted, here is an excerpt from the email

“The Babe Zaharias Competition opened on Wednesday 18^th June at 7pm.We now have 159 booked in with 50 on the waiting list, goodness knows how many others were trying to book.

 DotGolf was unable to cope with the numbers that were trying to book a place in the competition, at one point the two administrators had to close down the competition as they were unable to do anything in the back office.

The system allowed multiple people to book through to the payment and once someone paid for that time it would not take a payment from all the others who were trying to book – many players assuming that they had the tee time – which they didn’t.  This resulted in a lot of angry emails which were pretty unpleasant to deal with.”

I can understand all the frustration that there was and we are trying to do something about this.
