Championship and Handicap Quaich Quarter Finals

Another day at Gullane with no wind, not quite as sunny or as warm but great conditions for playing golf.

In today’s Championship quarter finals:-

Carys Irvine (Kilspindie) won against Anne Laird (Longniddry) 4&3.

Shirley Lawson (Winterfield) won 2up on the 17th against Frances Hall (Gullane) in a very close match.

Jill McNicoll (Gullane) won 7&6 against Tina Bracken Chalmers (Longniddry).

Janette Murdie (Longniddry) won 5&4 against Una Cooper (Renaissance).

In the Handicap Quaich Quarter Finals 

Lee Ann Mulholland (Haddington) w/o

Elaine Somers (Kilspindie) lost to Marie Vandepeear (Gullane) by 3&1.

Val Bird (Royal Musselburgh) lost to Patricia Smith (Gullane) 1up in a very tight game where there was never more than one hole in it.

Lesley McClelland (Glen) won against San San Little (Longniddry) 3&1.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is good but it will be windier.

First semi final tee time tomorrow is 9.28 and the finals start at 2pm come along to watch some excellent golf.
