Musselburgh Winners of the Carols’ Trophy Final

Dunbar and Musselburgh lined up at Longniddry today in the final of the Carols’ Trophy.

The Dunbar team – Barbara Wallace, Marie Vandepeear, Lis Snodgrass, Dee Williams and Mary Richardson.

The Musselburgh Team :- Louise Cox Thompson, Margaret Tiffany, Heather Clayton, Anne Rorrison and Lynn Logan

It was a very competitive match, going right to the wire with the last putt of the last match on the course preventing a sudden death play off and giving Musselburgh the win. Final score was 3 games to 2 for Musselburgh.

This is the second year that the final has gone to the last hole with Musselburgh on the losing end then. Elaine Dick presented the trophy to the Musselburgh team.
