Babe Zaharias Report and Results

Thank you to Winterfield Golf Club for hosting the Babe Zaharias Competition. On a day that the weather forecasters were promising heavy showers the majority of the players managed to get round in more or less dry conditions. There are lots of people to thank, the ladies of Winterfield particularly Carolyn Bennie (Lady Captain) who ran the raffle and had a great input into organising the event, the Winterfield men who acted as starters and managed the car parking. Thank you to our sponsors Belhaven Brewery and Paris Steele and the golf clubs and businesses who donated raffle prizes (details of these and the winners will be posted tomorrow). Thank you to the Winterfield members Friday Night Fun Golf for their fundraising efforts.
