Babe Zaharias Results
We have enjoyed a lovely sunny and windy day at Musselburgh Golf Club for the Babe Zaharias Competition today.
132 competitors took part, including 18 ladies who came on a bus from Fife! Everyone enjoyed the course and we would like to thank the club, the catering staff and the greenkeepers for all their help in making the day a great success.
The ladies from Musselburgh Golf Club did a great job organising the raffle and raffle prizes and raising lots of money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Many thanks to Margaret Tiffney, Liz Logan, Seline Stewart and Lesley Wood for all their hard work.
Many thanks to the ELLCGA committee ladies for all their help and especially to Nancy Thorne, our secretary.
The winner of the Babe Zaharias Trophy for the best scratch score is Lesley Gibb (West Lothian). In second place was Margo Gardner (West Lothian) and third was Leanne Wilson (Kelso)
