Jamboree Day Two

There was constant checking of all the weather apps today in the hope of finding a more promising forecast , unfortunately however,  it did remain a bit bleak on the links. Dull skies and rain showers remained through out the day but thankfully the wind was a lot calmer than yesterday. East Lothian were playing Fife today. Everyone played well in the morning foursomes matches with some great team play and ball striking but lady luck was not on our side,  delivering  unfortunate bounces whilst perhaps being a little kinder to the competition. Fife won all three matches. After a quick lunch it was back on with the rain gear and not to be put off by the rain or the morning’s disappointing result the girls set off from the clubhouse . A few brief words of encouragement from Frances and the girls teed off again in fighting spirit. It was time to win back some points and they did just that winning four points over two. The weather forecast looks to be a lot kinder for tomorrow showing blue skies and sunshine and everyone is looking forward to the final day competition.
