Junior MD4 and Spring Meeting

Match Day 4 was held at Longniddry Golf Club last Sunday. A bit of a dreich day to say the least!

Due to ongoing exam revision we could only field two players, Ava and James , in our ELLCGA/Gifford team. Despite the fact they were only a two man team,  both played well and achieved 67 points (James 36 and Ava 31). 

Sunday was also our Spring Meeting , again low in participation due to exams.

Anna, Louise and Ava were the only entrants, the results were as follows, scratch taking precedence over net.

1st Scratch and winner of the Marjorie Draper Trophy and Junior Champion was Louise Martin (Gullane) with a gross score of 81 .

1st Net and winner of the Morrison Quaich was Anna Zonova (Royal Musselburgh) with a net score of 76.

Well done to both girls! Prizes will be awarded at the 2023 Prizegiving in November.

Match Day 5 is at Haddington on Sunday 28th May.
