Percy Vere Trophy

On Sunday 26th February 12 ladies from ELLCGA played a fourball match against GGC. This is a firm fixture in our calendar and GGC were great hosts. All the matches were played in good spirits and there was some very good golf played. The matches were played on Gullane No 2 this year, to give our ladies another opportunity to play the course, ahead of the Jamboree in July. Only one match finished before the 18th hole! The other matches were all very close but I’m delighted to report that ELLCGA were victorious with a 4-2 win. Simon Cunningham presented the Percy Vere trophy to our playing captain, Kirsten Ireland. I would like to thank GGC for their very kind hospitality and Steven Marshall and his team in the clubhouse for the delicious catering. Well played, Ladies.
