The Helen Holm Scottish Women’s Open took place this Easter Weekend. Played annually at Royal Troon the format is a 54 hole stroke play competition contested over three days. The first two rounds are played on the Portland course and the final on the Old Course.

This year’s  tournament saw a strong international field gather on the west Coast of Scotland but it was our very own Grace Crawford who came out on top with a most impressive 4 shot win.  Not only is it the first home victory in 20 years but at just 15 years old Grace is also one of the youngest players to achieve the title.
In today’s final Grace got off to a flying start birdieing her opening three holes and not to be put off by the windy conditions she kept the momentum going to post a stunning round of 68 (-4). In her own words – “This is my highest achievement yet. It’s a great competition to win” ………..
