ELLCGA v Gullane Golf Club

After the disappointment in having last year’s friendlies cancelled it was exciting to have the squad back together for the first of this season’s matches.  On a beautiful sunny day with clear blue skies and very little wind Gullane No 1 presented in wonderful condition and the views were magnificent.

The Ladies were warmly welcomed by Gullane Captain Simon Cunningham and all the gentlemen with coffee in the Clubhouse before teeing off.

There were 6 matches played and unfortunately on this occasion East Lothian Ladies did not retain the trophy. Gullane had a very successful day winning 5 matches to 1.

After a wonderful high tea in the Clubhouse Carole Ross, our President, congratulated the gentlemen on their win and presented the Percy Vere Trophy to Simon.
