Kingsbarns Girls Classic

ELLCGA junior girls were once again invited to participate in the Kingsbarns Girls Classic which took place on Sunday 7th November. Evie McCallum and Louise Martin were selected to represent East Lothian and were delighted to have +2 handicapper Lucy Simpson from the R+A join them in the Texas Scramble format.

The team played well with some birdies and even an eagle to finish 7 under (net 61.4) which put them in 6th place out of 15 teams. It was a very tightly fought contest with only .3 of a difference between 1st and 3rd place. Well done Evie, Louise and Lucy.

A beautiful day – it was a little windy but the sun did shine for the girls who had a fantastic and memorable experience playing a great golf course.
