Junior News – “Spring Meeting” and Championship
At last we were able to hold a competition for the ELLCGA Girls!
Yesterday we held the Girls’ Spring (!) Meeting and Championship on Gullane No 2. The weather was great for the time of year with plenty sunshine and not much wind. The girls were pleased to see each other and nearly all of them had grown 4 inches taller since our last fixture last year!
The scoring was good and the girls all enjoyed their afternoon in the sunshine. The winner of the Morrison Quaich with the best handicap score of 73 was Ala Gorka. The Junior Championship winner was Abby Nisbet with a very good gross score of 74. Congratulations to Ala and Abby and thank you to all the girls for taking part.
