Jamboree Day Ladybank 1 Report

The results of the afternoon singles were as follows:

Clara Young won v Elaine Moffat

Grace Crawford lost v Gillian Paton

Jill McNicoll lost v Jocelyn Mackie

Kay Lannin won v Hannah Braidwood

Sue Penman lost v Lorna McKinlay

Mary Lou Watkins lost v Lorraine Morrow

On a very blustery day East Lothian struggled against a Fife side containing four Ladybank members whose experience of the course proved decisive. There were some great matches and some excellent comebacks in particular Clara Young coming back from 3 down to win, Kay Lannin’s 3 and 2 victory and Jill McNicoll coming back to take her opponent to the 18th.

Our consolation prize was at the buffet where we managed to beat Fife to the puddings.
