The weather may be telling us it is still winter but the diary says it is almost time to start the summer Hole & Hole competition. We have had a good entry with only 5 lucky ladies getting a bye in the first round.

There seems to have been a problem in seeing Linda’s contact details for reporting results on some devices and we have sorted this by re-locating the information to the top left corner of the draw sheet and at the same time the sheet has been updated with the results to date.

Good luck to all competitors,  I hope you have good and enjoyable matches

Congratulations to Liz Lonie and Lorraine White who have battled their way through the 5 rounds and final of the Winter Foursomes to win the first of this year’s trophies beating Dulcie Barnes and Marie Young in the final. The win must be extra special since they did not know each other before the competition started and were matched up having entered without a partner. Well done.

We have now looked at the diaries with Renaissance to re-schedule this event and Saturday 24th March suits Renaissance. We are very conscious that the later we leave it the more likely we are to clash with early season medals, matches and other events.
If you were already booked for the event on the 3rd please email Jenni Ray at jennixray@gmail.com by the 12th March to confirm that you are able to attend on the new date. After that date the event will be opened up to those who were unable to attend last time. Please add the words “I AM COMING” to the subject line
If you were not able to come on the 3rd but would like to come to the re-scheduled lunch please email Jenni Ray at jennixray@gmail.com and ask to be added to the reserve list. Please add the words “RESERVE LIST” to the subject line.
We look forward to seeing you on the 24th and will be keeping our fingers crossed for good weather this time.

Please note that due to the continuing severe weather we have reached an agreement with Renaissance that the lunch will be postponed.

A new date for the lunch will announced shortly.

We hope you are all keeping safe and warm in this very unsparing like weather.
