On a cold and blustery day at Glasgow Gailes on Sunday 16th October the following leading scores were posted. Good scoring on a long tough course in difficult conditions.

Autumn Meeting Results

The Autumn Meeting took place today over Castlepark Golf Club.  The course was in great condition given all the recent rain, and it is fair to say local knowledge proved to be the formula to win a prize!

2nd:  Lynn Moodie (Castle Park) 33pts

3rd:  Ann Sewell (Castle Park) 33pts

1st:  Lynda Jeffrey (Dunbar)

3rd:  Fiona Hopkinson (Castle Park)

Commonwealth Spoons - Result

The Commonwealth Spoons were played today over The Glen, with conditions calm compared to those back in May when played had to be cancelled!

The golf course was in excellent condition and the first three places went to: -

1st:  Jill McNicoll & Margaret Taylor  69.5

2nd:  Bobby Paul & Nancy Davidson  74

3rd:  Dawn Young & Gwen Stewart 74.5 bih

Jill & Margaret are unavailable to play in the Commonwealth Spoons Final at Forres on 22nd September 2011, and joining 2nd & 3rd places at the finals will be 4th placed Mary Lou Renton and Gill Ellis Pow.

Good luck to all the pairings at Forres.
